Martinizing Cleaners goes 24/7 with new Charlotte location in the Wells Fargo Building of the Overstreet Mall

Martinizing has added another element to “The future of garment care”: 24-hour accessibility to garment care services via service lockers. Martinizing Cleaners of Charlotte has taken this concept and put it in one of the busiest areas of downtown Charlotte: the Wells Fargo One Building of the Overstreet Mall, across the street from the Charlotte Convention Center and a block away from the Spectrum Center, home of the Charlotte Hornets.

“We took over this location from another dry cleaner, who had it staffed, and it was open typical business hours. So, people who frequent the Overstreet Mall are used to a cleaners being on site,” said Kyle Panther, owner of Martinizing Cleaners of Charlotte. “What they will love is being able to drop off and pick up their cleaning 24/7 and the convenience of making those arrangements through the Martinizing app.”

Using the Martinizing app, customers initiate an order and create their own four-digit code for security. Then it’s just a matter of dropping off clothes to be cleaned and receiving a notification when the clothes are available for pickup. The standard turnaround time is two business days.

“We do offer next day service and that can be specified when customers place the order. This will be particularly beneficial for visitors here for a convention or staying at the Hilton, which is right across the Overstreet Mall,” said Panther.

Cleaning orders received at the lockers will be taken to Martinizing Cleaners of Charlotte’s plant, located at 1408 East Boulevard in Charlotte.

“We’ve installed lockers in other parts of the city, some at residential developments, others in retail areas. The Overstreet Mall location is by far the busiest area where we’ve put lockers,” said Panther. “Thankfully, it’s a larger space and if the demand is what we expect it to be, we can easily install additional lockers.”

In addition to the convenience, customers will also experience garment care on an entirely different level. Martinizing Cleaners uses only 100% environmentally friendly non-toxic cleaning solvents. So, clothes look, feel and smell better.

Additionally, Martinizing Cleaners offers a wide array of cleaning services, including but not limited to: dry cleaning, shirt laundry, alterations, wash & fold, bulk laundry, leather cleaning, shoe repair, wedding gown cleaning and preservation; and comforter cleaning.

Customers can access the Martinizing Cleaners lockers at the Overstreet Mall 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
